The NACAS Central 2015 Conference will be held in Indianapolis, IN at the Sheraton City Centre, June 14-17.  The Sheraton City Centre is located in the heart of downtown Indianapolis and is within walking distance of restaurants, shopping and nightlife.   The hotel has recently been renovated and has many features to make your stay relaxing and enjoyable.

Educational sessions will focus on how to “Accelerate Your Auxiliaries” for more success.  The conference will offer two toursof local campuses and their auxiliary services.  The first tour will be of Butler University.  Butler University is a private institution with an undergraduate enrollment of approximately 4,100.  Conference delegates will have the opportunity to see construction of two new buildings at Butler; a residence hall and a parking garage that will also feature retail services.  Other venues on the tour will include the student union, the bookstore, the new recreation center, the performing arts center, and Hinkle Fieldhouse, which is a National Historic Landmark.  The second tour will take the conference delegates to downtown Indianapolis to visit one of the nation’s premier urban public research universities-IUPUI (Indiana University-Purdue University).  The total campus enrollment is over 30,000 and is divided between full-time and part-time students.  At IUPUI, conference attendees will tour residence hall that was once a conference center and hotel.  Also, on the tour will be the bookstore, campus center, campus card services, printing services, dining, the natatorium, IUPUI Sports Complex, and a child care center.

Drinks and dinner at the NCAA Hall of Champions on Monday night will provide delegates the opportunity to network and have some fun.  The NCAA Hall of Champions boasts two-levels of interactive exhibits for visitors so they can gain a true-to-life understanding of the life of a college athlete.  The first level of the building is an arena for all 23 NCAA sports and includes trivia challenges, current team rankings, video highlights and artifacts donated from colleges around the nation.

Delegates and guests will find Indianapolis a vibrant city with many things to do and see.  From the legendary Indianapolis 500 to the world famous Children’s Museum Indianapolis is an exciting and easily accessible destination.
