2007-2008 NACAS Membership Team

The Membership Committee works hard to ensure members renew every year – through phone calls, letters and reminders. The team also gathers a group of mentors to help offer guidance for newcomers.

Because the NACAS network of knowledge and experience is strengthened with every new member, we encourage all current members to assist us in our ongoing efforts to recruit and mentor new members. Thank you in advance for helping us strengthen our membership!

Current Membership Committee actions:

  • We are searching for members of the South and Central Regions to serve as Committee Representatives.
  • Five of the original 120 Connections Campaign institutions have joined!  Calls were made by the Leadership Team at regional conferences.
  • The first Trial Membership Campaign was successful, with two institutions joining.  The second Trial Membership Campaign is underway with 50 institutions of less than 1000 full time students.  Other trial memberships continue to be offered personally by Leadership Team members.
  • Currently contacting institutions that have expired to get them to reinstate their membership.

For more information about the Membership Committee or mentorship, contact our Chair, Margarida Vieira, of Bridgewater State College. You can also contact Heather Brown, NACAS Director of Membership & Business Partner Services.
