Who We Are
Introduction
The NACAS Education Foundation is a non-profit, charitable 501(c)(3) corporation formed for the sole purpose of promoting the auxiliary services profession through NACAS. Through generous support of members and business partners, the NACAS Education Foundation has been able to help fund new professional development programs, assist in improving technology, provide research funds and support scholarships.
Board of Directors
The Foundation’s Board of Directors (see photo at left)
are appointed and work closely with the NACAS Board of Directors to
establish the Foundation’s goals and objectives.
History
Fundraising for NACAS was born of the similar needs as many of the state-supported institution. NACAS faced some difficult times in the 1980s and recognized the need to improve its professional development opportunities and its delivery systems through technology. The NACAS Education Foundation was created during this time to provide support for NACAS. The Foundation is grateful to the support provided by the Charter Members as well as the continuing support provided by our business partners, NACAS members, and all donors.
Mission Statement
The NACAS Education Foundation provides financial and programmatic support to invest in professional development for NACAS members, business partners and the higher education community. The Foundation will act entrepreneurially, inclusively and with integrity.
Vision Statement
The NACAS Education Foundation is committed to funding the future for NACAS programs and initiatives and to provide a level of excellence made possible only through additional support.
