CASP Fund

The Certified Auxiliary Services Professional (CASP) designation attests that individuals have met a standard for auxiliary/ancillary services professionals. Support is needed to offset the costs of the certification consultant, test administration and analysis, and exam development activities.

Future Fund

This endowed fund will help NACAS support research into key areas that are important to auxiliary services, as well as help fund the development of programs designed to respond to these needs.  The Future Fund was established in 2008, as a way to recognize the NACAS 40th anniversary and help NACAS continue its focus on the future.

Conference Fundraisers

Various fundraisers are held during the NACAS annual conference and at the NACAS regional conferences.  The success of these events is due to the generous support of our business partners and those who participate in these events.  Below are the some events in which you can participate to support the work of the NACAS Education Foundation:

Flip-A-Coin

Here's your chance to win a prize and donate to a worthy cause!  The Flip-A-Coin fundraiser will be held at the upcoming NACAS regional conferences as well as at the 2012 NACAS Annual Conference in Atlanta.   How does it work?  After "purchasing" a special bead necklace, eligible participants stand and are asked to put one hand on either their "head" or their "tail."  A coin is flipped, and participants whose choice of "head" or "tail" matches the coin flip remain standing.  The process repeats until one person remains standing.  A prize, typically donated by one of the NACAS business partners, is given to the winner.  Proceeds from the "sale" of the bead necklaces help support the work of the NACAS Education Foundation.  Last year, dozens of participants helped raise $2,120 during the Flip-A-Coin fundraiser held at the 2011 NACAS Annual Conference in Orlando.

Texas Hold 'Em Tournament

You will again have the opportunity to put on your poker face and participate in the Texas Hold 'Em Tournament to be held at the at the 2012 NACAS Annual Conference in Atlanta.  Proceeds help support the work of the NACAS Education Foundation.  Watch for more information about how to register.  $24,653 was raised at the Texas Hold “Em Tournament held last year at the 2010 NACAS Annual Conference in Orlando.

Raffle and Silent Auction

The Raffle and Silent Auction will again be held at the 2012 NACAS Annual Conference in Atlanta.  Numerous items are typically donated to the Raffle and Silent Auction by business partners as well as NACAS members and the NACAS regions.  The items are then auctioned or raffled off at the NACAS Annual Conference.  Last year, almost $12,000 was raised at the 11th Annual NACAS Education Foundation Raffle and Silent Auction.  Numerous items including iPads, cameras, e-Readers, iPods, and conference registrations were donated by dozens of business partners, over a dozen NACAS members, and each NACAS region.  Watch for more information about how to contribute to this year's Raffle and Silent Auction.

Golf Tournament

Watch for more information about how to register for the Golf Tournament to be held at the 2012 NACAS Annual Conference in Atlanta.  Last year, over $22,000 was raised at that golf tournament at the NACAS Annual Conference in Orlando.  Proceeds help support the work of the NACAS Education Foundation.
