Broadway in Chicago Show Series
Before the excitement of the conference begins, make plans to see one of the many productions of The Broadway in Chicago Show Series. Book your preferred show and preferred seat by making arrangements directly with the theatre. Then mark your calendar to join other conference attendees at a group departure location in our conference hotel. You maintain the flexibility of making all of the choices, but still have a networking opportunity to meet and travel to the theatre with other attendees.
Purchasing Tickets
To allow attendees the flexibility of picking their own seats and selecting their preferred show, we ask that you book your own tickets. While there are many great shows available to see, the Host Committee recommends two popular shows: Dirty Dancing and Wicked.
Tickets for the North American Premier of Dirty Dancing are on sale now. Visit the Broadway in Chicago website to make arrangements. Tickets for Wicked will be up for general sale later this Summer.
Group Departure Location at the Conference Hotel
We know attendees will enjoy the flexibility of booking their own tickets to their preferred show; we also know they want to network with colleagues in as many ways as possible during the conference. As a result, we are offering a group departure location for anyone going to the 8 p.m. shows on Saturday, November 1, 2008. By coming to the group departure location you will be able to meet Host Committee members and other conference attendees who might be going to the same show. Anyone interested can share a cab or a brisk walk together to the theatre.
More information about the exact departure location will be provided prior to the conference.
