Join us for our 40th NACAS anniversary gala in Chicago, on Tuesday November 4, 2008. This year we will enjoy the ambiance of The Chicago Field Museum.  Our theme “Red, White and Blue” is meant to honor the democratic election process being held that day throughout the United States.  We encourage all attendees to wear casual dress in a patriotic theme regardless of your nationality!

Museum Sights and Sounds

While at the Field Museum you will enjoy heavy hors d’oeuvres & dessert, drinks, music, and dancing.  You can also visit the  many exhibits within the museum including: Nature Unleashed: Inside Natural Disasters, Earth Science, Evolving Planet and World of Birds. Make sure your time during the Gala also includes a visit to Sue – the world’s largest and most complete Tyrannosaurus rex fossil yet discovered.

The Museum’s gift shop will also be open for a limited time during our event if you wish to purchase souvenirs of the Museum.

Entertainment

Come rock with The Band Sundance throughout the gala event.  A local favorite, the band will perform songs throughout the decades to entertain everyone.  Their playlist includes songs by the B-52's, Janis Joplin, Faith Hill, The Beatles, Van Morrison, Melissa Etheridge, Gloria Gaynor, Dave Matthews Band, and much more.  A dance floor will be provided for those inspired to cut a rug; seating will be provided for those who choose to relax and network while enjoying the entertainment.

Transportation

Transportation will be provided for all attendees to and from the hotel on a regular basis throughout the entire event. If you wish to drive to the museum on your own, please note there will be a $15 parking fee.
