Colorado Springs Weather in November

Colorado weather can change drastically over a day and it is not uncommon to see wide temperature conditions from one day to the next. Colorado Springs, with 300 days of sunshine, has more sunny days than Florida.  Average temperatures in early Nov are 50s by day and 30s by night.

Colorado Springs is home to more than 50 exciting and unique attractions such as Pikes Peak, U.S. Olympic Training Center, Garden of the Gods, Seven Falls, Air Force Academy, Flying W Ranch, Cave of the Winds, Royal Gorge, and Cheyenne Mountain Zoo. Did you know?

The Host Committee will be conducting a campus tour of the United States Air Force Academy on Tuesday afternoon, November 9, 2010.  Pre-registration required; see Registration & Fees information.  A description of the campus tour will be posted as it becomes available.

 

You can also participate in tours of Colorado College, Pikes Peak Community College, and University of Colorado - Colorado Springs.

 

Area Restaurants & Nightlife

Downtown Colorado Springs is located 15 minutes from The Broadmoor and offers a number night clubs, restaurants, and shops.

 

High Altitude Tips

When visiting Colorado Springs be sure to give your body the time it needs to adjust to the altitude.

  • Stay below 7,000 feet the first day (the city of Colorado Springs is 6,035 feet above sea level).
  • Work your way up to higher altitudes by about 1,000 feet per day.
  • Avoid strenuous exercise your first day in Colorado Springs.
  • Drink water before and during your visit.
