OBJECTIVES: |

HISTORY: |
Established in 1969, NACAS is a nonprofit higher education association serving auxiliary services and student support services professionals at over 900 colleges and universities in the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Australia, and Ireland.
NACAS provides extensive networking opportunities, professional development programs and timely professional publications that help foster the continued growth and enhancement of the auxiliary services and student support services profession in higher education.
NACAS is a volunteer-driven association, governed by an elected board of directors, representing the best in college and university administrative leadership, whose decisions chart both the short-term course and strategic goals of the Association.
The NACAS National Office is located in Charlottesville, Virginia and has a staff of 12 employees. |

NACAS is governed by an 11-member board of directors supported by standing committees: annual conference, professional development, membership, business partner, finance; and advisory committees: communication services and awards; and ad hoc task forces such as cultural diversity. |

An online newsletter, online directory, and bi-monthly magazine are provided to members as part of membership dues.
Advertising is permitted in the magazine. |

PLACEMENT: |
The NACAS Career Center is an online employment connection, created with the needs of the higher education auxiliary services community in mind. The web service is designed as a resource for both employers and job seekers. |
